Nature's Autumnal Fireworks
Firstly: A big heartfelt thank you for all the kindness shown to yesterday's blipversary big number thingamajig. You're a lovely bunch :-)))
The first 'support walk' today, an amiable wander with a nice soul, as good a way as any to start, 15 more to go, feels good to be able to use my odd mix of skills to help folks during this exceptionally wierd time.
This beauty is, I believe, a Scarlet Waxcap. There were dozens and dozen of them. I've gone with Scarlet as there are lots of different colour varieties, but I refuse to believe in Vermillion as a colour. As a bit of a bloke I think it's quite adventurous of me to accept scarlet. Plus the habitat and gills were right ;-)
