Noctilucent Clouds

Today you were going to be treated to a shot of Lincoln Cathedral towers as seen from the front of the  BMI Lincoln Hospital, taken with my telephone.  Mrs W was referred for an urgent echocardiogram back in June, and we are still waiting in spite of her doctor chasing it up a number of times.  Last week we got fed up and contacted Benenden - well we have paid the subscriptions since before Mrs W retired so it’s about time we had some benefit.  Today she got the scan.
 
As it is we have been treated to some wonderful cloud displays after the sun had gone down.  Processing has revealed some vignetting which is not normally prominent with only the UV filter on, but it does make a better image, well in my books anyway.  So you’ve got those instead - two more on Flickr.
