Finally!

Spent most of today's beautiful, sunny morning tidying up the garden and found this - a whole smattering of crocuses hiding in one of the now-liberated borders! Certainly is a welcome sight.

A much less welcome sight was what I'm sure is a baby deer skull and a bit of leg bone - both stripped clean - down by the pond. Couldn't believe it. Must have been a fox but I'd never have thought they'd be so bold, especially as baby deer don't usually wander far from their mums.

Apart from that, enjoying a peaceful day before half term hits us full-throttle tomorrow...
