Big Barn

It has been overcast today with some drizzle at times. Pilates and then some work in the garden this morning. Managed to plant our new cordon apple tree - the James Grieve variety. Hoping it does well. I am continuing to feel unsettled by the continuing uncertainty of the USA election. The growing criticism of the government from within their own party adds to the uncertainty and a lack of confidence about the future.
My image today was taken yesterday when the sun was shining and is of an old farmstead with a very big barn building. Whenever we walk past, whatever the weather, it always seems so peaceful and solid, as if it will continue regardless of other events, as it has for centuries.
