Close encounter with deer

Malcolm wanted to walk in the higher pastures above the house. At lunchtime we drove the car up to the Castell hotel (closed in the off season) and set off from there. Not long afterwards we found cows still grazing and just beyond saw these two young deer in the woods. You'll notice the wire from the edge of the grazing area which "cuts" across one of them. It's always a privilege to see nature just beyond the doorstep and we had a good few minutes enjoying their company before they headed off deeper into the woods. We spent the rest of the walk talking about beautiful places to live and finding our mojos.
