Swans in the mist

There are two types of weather that tend to get me out of the house with my camera: one is snow and the other is fog. So, this morning I was up and out early with my camera (and Mr DA) to get some foggy shots before it lifted. As it happened, it hung around for quite a long time. We ended up at Petersfield Heath and there were plenty of birds to photograph, including a heron, cormorants (see Extras), gulls, geese, coots, moorhens, and even an egret - the first one I've seen there. There were people around, but not too many, and a one-way system in place. Also, the Plump Duck was operating a takeaway service, so we were able to get a coffee along the way, which was good.
