Comforting Thoughts in Troubling Times

Dear Diary,

A box appeared on my porch yesterday and to my surprise it contained this lovely array of comforting things.  Vegetable soup, lovely rolls and soft chocolate chip cookies with a silver ladle for serving!  It was a gift from a dear friend and fellow blipper and her partner.  I was so moved by their generosity.  We all need self-tending during these chaotic and stressful days.  Things are still looking good for the Biden-Harris ticket to win but the Orange Monster is doing his best to disrupt the process.  He will end as he began, sowing hate and divisiveness.  It is who he is and it is what Americans have rejected in historic numbers.
