CALM & COOL

I went to my daughter's to spend election night.  We cooked a delicious 
dinner & hoped to pop open the champagne before we went to bed.
That did not happen, because the voter turn out is historic, but not a landslide victory for Biden.   Today we are compulsively keeping watch on the presidential election results, hoping that Joe Biden will win decisively.
Several key states have not finished counting votes, & the margins are close.  Every vote counts.

I am trying to keep calm & cool like this serene figure in my Blip, but
counting votes is a very slow, excruciating process.  The good news is that most  states are adamant about following the rule of law, even though Trump continues to file law suits to bend it in his favor, with baseless law suits.  It appears Rudy Giuliani is involved, so it will probably be a farce.

I am reminded of the 2018 election when the final results & positive news of the election did not arrive until the end of the week.   The "good guys"    (& gals) might still win.
