A bit of everything

Today began with a lovely sunrise but the clouds soon rolled in.  It didn't rain but it was overcast all day. Most of the morning was spent with a routine doctor visit for Bert and then John appeared just as we got home. He spent some time here watering the new grass again and at the same time Alison appeared to begin sanding the outside table and chairs that she wants to paint. Finally, Jim brought some ladders back. He has finally finished all his summer work. So it was one thing after another, for a busy (for us) but entertaining day! it doesn't take much to keep us entertained!
