Fener - Balat

This is the view unless I do not have a roof. Maybe I can place a little roof window in future but officially I can not do it now since my building is second degree historical building.
In the photo you see golden horn, far in the mist Galata Tower. Then Bulgarian Church ( metal church). You can put a magnet on it.
Then you see Tahta Minaret Mosque and Tahta Minaret Hamam with its wooden roof.
The neighborhood is old town of Istanbul full of old Greek and Jewish houses.
Mine is a old Jewish house owned by Ishak Barokas but I couldn't follow his footsteps in Istanbul. I wish I could meet somebody from the family but probably they left Turkey.
