Archer

He is shorter than the others. He doesn’t look like a soldier. His bow is shorter and lighter than the others’ - he probably wouldn’t be able to draw anyone else’s bow. And, if the truth is told, he is not a fighter. Back home he was a hunter. Although “poacher” might be a better description. But, here in France, his particular skills have proved to be useful. Whilst he cannot fire an arrow through the breastplate of a French knight, he is able to silently make his way from one patch of darkness to another. And he is very good at waiting. And, sometimes, he can fire an arrow through the breast of a French knight before the French knight has dressed himself in armour.
