Just A Perfect Day
Beautiful autumn day by the River Tyne at Wylam. The tower and building are an old pumping station that was built by Newcastle and Gateshead Water Company in 1876. The station housed a steam powered Cornish beam engine that pumped water from the River Tyne to the Whittle Dean reservoir.
I have attached an extra showing the view from where we sat to enjoy our morning cuppa (we took a thermos flask) and a banana.
A big thank you for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts for my 3rd Blip anniversary a couple of day ago.
