Last sail of the month/year/season

Pleasantly cold today with an early frost and welcome November sunshine.
A kindly breeze as well so we rigged the boat and went for a sail.
Sealskin socks did a good job keeping wet feet warm and we poodled downwind for about 40 minutes and ate our sandwiches before putting her on the wind for a gentle beat back.
All very pleasant and we were washed down and tidied away before 3.
Don’t know when I will be ‘allowed’ back at the club, still waiting for the government and RYA to decide.
