Miss Kitty

This is our miss kitty. Her actual name is Isobel but she never gets called this. My husband works in a quarry and they had a resident cat who had taken up residing in a workshop. The boys used to feed her as she was quite tame. For a few weeks the guys didn't see her, but soon she reappeared with new family. One by one the boys started taking the kittens home to their families, worried that the foxes may get them if they stayed at work. Finally there was only one tiny kitten left. My husband working afternoon shift texts me a photo of the tiny little thing. I "jokingly" suggested that he should bring it home. My husband comes home at midnight that night and tells me to look in the garage. In a box, was this tiny little ball of fluff. Not having anything to feed her, my husband made a mercy dash to Coles for cat milk! She was so tiny she didn't even know how to lap milk. But she learnt quick! Her first "bowl" was a lid of a plastic container that was only a few mm deep. Cats are so amazing, they learn so quickly. Now she just over a year old but still so tiny. She loves attention and is always around us, she doesn't like to be alone.
