moms and tots at the zoo

We had lovely weather here today, sunny and 70F, so off I went to the zoo. And the trip did not disappoint. All the animals were out and active, but my favorite shots were of the new baby animals. The main photo features Wallaby mom, named Gidgee, cleaning her joey, Clifford, while he rests in her pouch. He looks a little cramped in there, as that pink spot is the heel of his left back leg!
In extras is a shot of Reticulated Giraffe mom, Bailey, and her 5 week old daughter, BB (Bailey's Baby). The last shot in extras is an orphaned mountain lion, named Koda. He was brought to us as a tiny kitten, but is now 6 months old, and is being slowly introduced to our other two mountain lions.
