We voted. Now what?

I have ground my teeth to the bone, so to speak, becasue of the combination of COVID and elections. I now have to wear a custom-made night guard to sleep, and continue to grind my teeth throughout the day. This handsome pen was a voting tool (it has a soft tip to use on the polling machine screen), as well as "you voted, yay!" parting gift at the polls today. I may continue using it as a daytime bite guard for now...

Note the COVID hairstyle; I haven't gotten a haircut since January. I guess I am growing my hair now, like it or not.

I will not stay up to watch the election results, though HD and LM are doing so within my earshot. I have resigned to the idea of 4 more years of bitterness, incivility, and havoc. How did we ever get here, and why do we seem to choose to continue???
