Beneath Suspension
As the winds died, calmer water prevailed, which looked comparatively clear, enough at least to see six inches or so below the surface. There was some movement as debris flowed by and a high iso resulted, not helped by my using a polariser. It's a trade off as always, but I think the extra clarity and saturation gained was worth it.
The image has a different soft focus quality, but obviously the vegetation floating on the surface provide a contrasting sharpness.
I focused on shapes when composing, but whilst editing I felt the top left had too much empty space and cropped down to a 5x4.
