Sometimes You Have To Get Off The Easy Trail.....

If I had stayed on the easy path of the hike and bike trail, I never would have seen this handsome guy hanging out on the Mealy Blue Sage, but I took the path left by some of the maintenance vehicles and there he was!  I believe he is some sort of a moth, because of his shape and hairiness.  Yes, I did turn my original shot 180 degrees, so, originally, he was hanging on more than sitting on the flower.  It seemed easier to see his details with the photo turned this way.  Thanks to JDO for hosting!
