An Early Start

Up and out just after the crack of dawn and the car was taken down to Peebles for its service and MOT test.
It was booked in for the day so we had a courtesy car - automatic hybrid. Not as nice as mine but nice enough - apart from the inconsistent lane deviation system which I would switch off.
When we took it back I was handed an MOT certificate ........ nothing needed doing - or even close. The only problem being that I have to take it back next week to have a new boot lock fixed -- the bloke I spoke to on the phone when booking it in (not the usual guy) didn't believe me the lock was goosed and hadn't ordered up a new one. The usual guy would have had one on the shelf 'just in case'.
I have been told that next week I can take a Honda e out to play .... it is meant to be great fun.
