Sunrise, Chalkwell Beach

Up earlyish again so I went over to Thorpe Bay, got my wellies on and started trudging out on the estuary mud, camera bag and tripod in hand, but then it started tipping it down. Being the soft, indoor type that I am I trotted straight back to the car and headed home. On the way the rain eased so I took a quick look at Chalkwell Beach as the sun came up behind Southend Pier. The above is the result.
