Swing bridge

For as long as  I can remember this bridge has crossed this river.  Immense fun was had all those years ago playing with friends who still live close by. Thoughts of any danger never occurred to us.  There have been countless floods, but the bridge still stands and is used today.   Last week the river was raging, brown with 'white horses:'  today, still fast, the level had dropped.
