Emily's Thesis

I have this incredibly clever niece called Emily. Not only is she an astrophysicist, and has just submitted her thesis for her Ph.D., but she created this amazing little hard paged scrapbook so that those of us who really have no idea what she about, might understand a little.

In it she says she studies Doradus stars, which are stars like the sun that pulsate and that she calculates the frequencies and models the shape of the pulsations.

I wish you could see each of the 8 pages since they are really quite beautiful and certainly challenging enough for my very limited understanding.
