A Chelsea Morning

Before the sun was up, I couldn't sleep. I'm not a morning person, but I slipped quietly from our bed so I wouldn't wake Mr. Fun and then I pulled back the window covering to see the orange glow in the eastern distance.

I waited almost a half-hour as anticipation mounted. Finally, the sky was a palette of color and I could no longer let Mr. Fun sleep. The one who loves the morning would have been so disappointed to see this sky from only the captures caught by my camera. So I woke him. He loved the view.

Today our little great-grandson, Tristan, celebrates 6 years of life. He is such a sweetie and we will get to see him tomorrow after he's spent a day at Disneyland with his mom, Desiree, and her wonderful boyfriend, Justin. He's never been there before. Oh what fun!
