A despised insect wearing a stunningly iridescent green coat. 

We had a very pleasant day at the golf club for our Melbourne Cup lunch. I didn't watch the race. Didn't win any money but enjoyed the super, duper company, the lunch and the bubbles. Home to the couch and forty winks. No dinner required in this house this evening ;-)  As our lovely Kiwi friend used to say as he patted his tummy, "I'm as full as a State School"!!  

Sadly yet another horse broke down and had to be destroyed.......
