Robin

The robin that lives in my garden each year is keeping me entertained during lockdown. It spends all it's time hopping around the back yard. I do realise that it may be a different one from previous years as this has been happening for some time. In the spring it finds a mate and they both spend a few days in my yard then relocate somewhere else only returning in the autumn when it is alone all winter. I assume that is because it is defending its territory.
