Black Hill

Walked up Black Hill this morning.  Managed to get 7 contacts on the radio to complete a SOTA activation, all on 2m.  Was just about to switch to HF when the expected rain came so I packed up to head down the hill.  Took this photo just as I was leaving the summit, when in a very brief pause between bands of rain the last hill I walked up, Scald Law (the knobbly bit on the skyline), became visible.

Of course 20 minutes later the sun was back out, and I was wishing I'd waited out the shower and made some long distance contacts on HF...
