Ormskirk

In Ormskirk today the church was decorated with knitted poppies.Despite the heavy rain we have had they looked beautiful.Everyone individual and all the more meaningful for it.
A queue at a lot of the shops and banks.Not a surprise really.Everyone stocking up having not learnt a thing from the last lockdown.I have to admit to stocking up on books.I have novels to last me for at least several months now.I do love book shops.

Labour have spent the day sniping at the government from behind its rock over its handling of this pandemic.Hindsight is a wonderful thing I hope in the future they could find it within themselves to be more constructive as they rightly question what is being done.
