It has come to this

I would have been horrified to think I would spend even a tiny amount of my retirement doing jigsaws. I came across this (reduced obvs) on the John Lewis app and I liked the cats, they also did a yoga one. I was so engrossed that I missed the FM’s daily update. It’s finished now and I will suggest a swap with E who does them all the time, although I suspect they are mostly train and steam engine ones which wouldn’t be quite so mindful.

I am keen to try out the ‘ smizing’ experiment with the neighbourhood’s sole cat, a light ginger one. Smizing is when you smile like a cat to make them trust you as a fellow animal. You almost close your eyes and smile in an exaggerated fashion. It’s already a friendly feline so my experiment will involve seeing if it follows me down the allotment road, it normally stops at the gate.
