Pathfinder

The subject of this photo is the paths that we have weeded and covered with a very thick mulch of pine chips. We have a lot of paths. We have a lot of chips. We are pretty darn tired on our second day of this work. There is still an enormous amount of chips in the street in front of the house waiting to be transported to the backyard, waiting and multiplying. All I know is that we have moved an awful lot, and there is still an awful lot sitting out there. But we made tremendous progress on this sunny lovely day, and the yard smells deliciously woodsy and fresh. The hope is that the chips keep some of the weeds at bay for awhile.
