The World Looks Different To Me

I had so many titles for this in my head.

First day back at work today.  1200 E-Mails waiting to be read. Culled the Admin ones, the for-info ones, the advertising ones and, and, leaving only E-mails from colleagues asking for help.  So only 600 to get through...

I had to write e-mails to a couple of company mail boxes today.  Exactly the sort of thing that I think I can't do.  I over think things, I tie myself in knots over my choice of words, and what should take 5 minutes for anyone else, is an hour-long, really very fraught process at the end of which I'm exhausted and literally dripping sweat.  It's hilarious - if you're not me.

The good news - I managed both E-Mails in 10 minutes.  Both very short and to the point.  Sachlich & fachlich as we say here.

A couple of chats with people and that was me done for today.

I had a call from my optician, my new glasses were ready.  So I popped in to pick them up and also to order a pair of glasses for my every day use outside. He took this Foto of my eye, and I took a Foto of the Foto.

I'm only working 5 hours a day this week.
