on the backroads

We walked a section of an abandoned logging road. We met several motorcyclists and one all-terrain vehicle.

Along this road were several small rock quarries. The rock was used to build the road. At each quarry were large boulders place near the edge, a sort of barrier for vehicles. Renee discovered a geocache under a boulder. We opened the jar and signed the log book. At the next quarry Renee searched under the boulders. Again she found a geocache. Again we signed the log book. At the third quarry we found a geocache.

When we arrived at home, I logged into our account at www.geocaching.com. I registered our three discoveries.
