Because of Coronavirus, the volunteers which we usually see out on our streets at this time of year, before Remembrance Day, are not able to go out.  However, the supermarkets and shops have displays with donation cans, and it is hoped that everyone will purchase poppies, and lots of money will be raised in this way.  

Quite a pleasant day so far, although rain is forecast for the afternoon.  Nothing new at this time of year.  November can be a very dreich month!
