Stop That Pigeon...
Progress has been made in the alterations at church and the builders have broken through the wall on the stair to the gallery to install a very large steel beam. What they forgot to do was to close the door between the stair and the gallery to keep the dust out of the church.
Perhaps it was the hymn singing and the organ playing that drew a pigeon through this gap and into the church, where it sat on some of the stored chairs on the gallery, watching the organist, then, disturbed by the sudden appearance of the Flums, taking off in graceful flight to the opposite corner of the church.
When everyone has left and the church is quiet perhaps it will find its way back through the hole in the stair wall before the builders return to work.
