Either these shopping trolleys haven’t moved for a while or a lot of leaves have fallen recently. 

When I shopped at Booths (Windermere) earlier in the week a few things were out of stock. This was an excuse to go to Keswick. The weather forecast was bad but I tried to be optimistic and thought we could have a drive (and wander) along Borrowdale afterwards.

Timed it well for the shop. I was straight in but when coming out at 9.45 there were at least 8 people queuing in the rain. 

We decided against a walk and with the intensity of the rain I didn’t think I’d want to get the camera out. It’s a long time since we drove in rain as heavy as that experienced on the journey home. 

This evening our PM announced a second lockdown for 4 weeks starting on Thursday. Relieved that I have a hair appointment for Tuesday,
