Caught on camera
Mind blowing images down at the Natural History Museum for the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. Now sponsored by Veolia the waste management company rather than the BBC, which spoils the ambience a bit.
Some fantastic shots stick in the memory, such as the Thomson's gazelle fawn running from the gaze of 4 cheetah cubs and a baby baboon with a look of sheer panic in its eyes after ending up in a Mozambican market. Winner an unbelievable capture of diving penguins and the bubble patterns they create in the water.
