Wedding

We had thought we had two weeks left to get everything sorted for youngest daughters wedding to her lovely young man.

However after yesterday’s announcement of another lockdown which includes a ban on weddings, we have brought forward the wedding day.

So the happy couple will now tie the knot this coming Tuesday.

Most things were in place, most things have been able to move to Tuesday but not quite all.

While hubby finished his speech, I had to quickly shorten a bridesmaid dress today amongst plenty of other things.
Hence the photo of the pins!

Grateful to be able to see this lovely young pair marry and have a reception too.
She moved all her belongings from our home here on Friday. Our little nest is empty.

To say it’s been a whirlwind of emotions is an understatement!



It brings a whole new understanding of the term ‘Wedding Banns’.....
