Promise

Our ‘new’ Rowan tree ‘Eastern Promise’ is fulfilling it’s promise producing lovely autumn colour.

You might just be able to just make out the two pink berries still at the top. Remarkably they have been left alone by the birds though they do like to use the tree as a waiting post for the feeders which are just in front of here.

We hope it will look great full of pink berries followed by these russet leaves each year.

You can see we had some blue skies this morning, what a nice change, but it was very breezy.


I am now in Bristol for a flying visit. John met us part way at a service area so Chris didn’t have to drive all the way. Now we have lockdown at the end of the week it appears West Yorkshire is no longer going into tier three tomorrow!?
I hope I can help out with a little care/childcare so Grace can get a bit of rest and get on the mend a bit sooner.
