Leftovers
I came across these two in the park today. Later on Facebook I came across this -
"Halloween is over, so what can you do with your left over jack-o’-lanterns?
Don't leave pumpkin waste in your garden - it can make hedgehogs ill if they eat it! Pumpkin flesh is full of water and breaks down quickly in the soil - dig a hole, pop your pumpkin in, and let the worms and insects enjoy it!
Please don't dump pumpkins in the woods either! The additional nutrients carried by pumpkins and other forms of organic waste can alter soil nutrient levels and throw our flora into a state of unbalance.
