Toutes les bonnes choses ont une fin...
(All things come to an end).
It was our last day of the holiday today so I had a lie in while the boy had a swim and a sauna. Bags packed we went for breakfast and then caught the Roissy Bus back to the airport. The boy managed to fill his flight with a glass of wine, a long trip to the loo, another glass of wine and then we were landing, if only all flights were that brief. A rather excited father in law to be ran down the no entry point to greet me with a sloppy double kiss and a congratulations and we were back home by 2.30pm. We dropped our bags down in the front room, turned the heating on full, realised it was going to take age to warm up and headed to my parents house to show off the ring. A big chinese was ordered as we still felt we hadn't eaten enough foreign food in the last two weeks and then headed home for bed.
We do love our holidays but you can't beat your own bed.
Where to next hear you cry? I'll keep you posted ;)
Oh and the photo is a close up of the chandelier hanging in our hotel room, I love the way you can see the illustrations of the wallpaper through the glass droplets. If you go to Paris stay at La Maison Favart, it is stunning.
