There were still a few butterflies flitting around in the warm sunshine on my walk today. In the morning, we rang the bells for the last time until at least December. The church service went ahead but next week it will be back to Zoom. The French conversation group will also revert to Zoom. The good news of the day is that I was able to pass on the information that we have finally received the €15,000 matched funding from DRAC, the Direction régionale des affaires culturelles, for the bells.This was to match the same sum already given by the Fondation du Patrimoine. The bell fund now has no debts and the project is complete.
