A New Diner at the Back Porch Café

Dear Diary,

I can't remember when I've seen an Evening Grosbeak at the feeder.  I had a pair of them visit and I was so happy I had the camera ready.  Such striking birds.  I can't believe October is over and now we face the most consequential week in our lives.  I very much doubt we will have a result on Tuesday night as there are so many absentee votes to count.  It may drag on for days.  I truly believe the fate of our country rests on the outcome of this election.
