I was up early today as I find it difficult to sleep at the moment. The lockdown announcement yesterday came as no surprise, neither was the news that schools will remain open. It's difficult to see, especially in high schools, how this will work given that there are so many cases in schools + bubble closures etc.

I teach in a primary school, which at the moment have less infections than other types of school. I would much rather be in school and teaching rather than remotely from home.
