Pão de Queijo

Pão de Queijo and sparkling wine from England (Chapel Down Three Graces 2011).

This was a snack to accompany watching some footie. This is the first English sparking wine I’ve had, and it was very good. Kent is just across the channel from Champagne and had similar chalky soil, and they have increasingly been making well regarded sparking wines. However, it is much more difficult to find than the better known French stuff (at least in the U.S.).
