St Agnes and St Ives

We enjoyed our final breakfast in Newquay before heading towards St Ives. The winds were still high but the weather was brighter today. On the way we stopped at lovely St Agnes and had a walk along the coast path. It took a while to find the coast from where we parked and my feet were starting to ache after all the walking, but once again the views were beautiful.
After our walk, we had a lovely lunch in an excellent little cafe in the town and then drove to St Ives. Our accommodation was very disappointing in St Ives. The cleverly taken photos were misleading and the room was very basic compared to the others we had stayed in.
Keen to get out of the room, we headed into St Ives to explore and to find somewhere to eat. We were very lucky to find somewhere with a cancellation who could fit us in. Eat out to help out was a great scheme but it also made finding places to eat tricky when on holiday.
