Campsite flooded!

Barry, Barney and Andrew had a narrow escape last night, when the river burst its banks. Luckily, a local bobby/fell rescue chap woke them before it happened and they were able to relocate quickly.

Some sad news though - an experienced fell runner had been missing for a couple of days and his body was discovered yesterday. Doubly glad Andrew has undertaken this journey with Barry, who did no planning, as his flat cap and trainers might point to!

The weather is vile up there but luckily a holiday camp about 5 miles away is putting them up for the weekend.

They are remarkably chipper in the videos that Andrew posts on Facebook, keeping those that are following them updated. We’re going to be sorry when they reach John O’Groats. Their videos will be missed!
