Eyes

My oldest and I went for our eye examinations today. His eyes haven't changed much at all since last year, which is fantastic.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the same diagnosis. Two years ago, she diagnosed me with a mild cataract in my right eye. It was not over my line of sight, so it was fine. Today I found out that it has moved at an unusually fast rate and now does cover my line of sight. It is like looking through a smear on a window at all times, and I'll never see 20-20 in my right eye again. She talked with me for a long time about my options. I'm only 36, so it is even more unusual. There are only 4 stages, and I went from 1 to 2 in just two years.

There is so much to process emotionally. My right eye is my dominant eye. I cannot see well enough now to manually focus. I feel a little lost.
