Michael and his uncle Guillot prepared for the fight that would decide Guillot’s fate.

Lorna’s remarks

Left a long time half finished, this shows two periods of style. Michael’s horse is unconvincing about the legs, and he himself has undergone another period change. Did one ever wear a surcoat over armour?

Owing to the position of the town, this picture again is top-heavy, and there is too much unused space at the bottom.

The other horses are better.
