I should have ....................

worn my waterproof trousers & wellies this morning but it was a spontaneous decision to head down to Mum's & walk her dog. Mum finds walking in the strong winds a bit scary, plus it was lashing with rain so she was pleasantly surprised & very happy when I turned up, minus the suitable attire. Indie does'nt care what the forecast brings she's always up for a walk. Did a lap of Chudleigh Knighton heath. It was'nt long before the water was running off the bottom of the jacket, also Mum's, onto my jeans ..... the result being the blip.
I like to have a go at the BIG quizword in The Sun on Saturday & Sunday. I've done pretty well today, even if I say so myself. One question that really has me beaten, (I'm not going to Google) is this

The skies brightened around lunchtime ... blue, sky blue, bright blue,  ... then they turned grey and threatening once again.

Now waiting on Boris to announce lockdown. What a nightmare! The public are not abiding by the rules. We have a large holiday lodge complex, operating now over half term ... I'd love to know where they've all come from, hopefully going home today/tomorrow.
