IBC

This tank will reside between the shed and trellis. Beautiful it is not, but given the recent weather trends of wet autumns and very dry summers, 1000 liters of water storage is becoming essential. A local farmer was disposing of this one at a reasonable price and I thought a coat of paint to match the shed (Wild Thyme) might help it blend in a bit and stop the water within going green with algae. Another step soon to be completed then, on the road to reviving the vegetable garden.

Oh yes and I learned that IBC = Intermediate Bulk Container, though why intermediate neither I nor the farmer could ascertain.
