Happy Halloween
There will be no kids party at our home today and we've done so for years!
Instead we will have a special Halloween supper in memory of my Mum who died 6 years ago today.
I'm making one of her favourite Asparagus soup, followed by Slow Cooked Turkey leg with honey glaze and garlic (in the oven for 6 hours cooking) and oven baked Sea Bream. Served with Celeriac puree, baked parsnip, carrots and beetroot glazed with honey and possibly red cabbage slaw.
For dessert I made something new yesterday so it could set over night.
It didn't.
Not enough Agar Agar.
Swiftly fixed this morning and already set. Chocolate fudge that is.
